Fairuza is a very active and playful girl. She will need basic obedience and socialization as she plays a lot. Would be best as an only dog in the home.

*Return Notes* 6/29/17: Fairuza is quite a handful. She is so full of energy she does not know what to do with herself. Calmness and self-control are not part of her repertoire at this time. She does not have a venue in which to channel her energy yet and so she will jump, nip, spin, and even scream. Having a job for her to do would be a big help. To her credit, she does have her calm moments and then she is affectionate and attentive.

She will chase cats. Her interactions with other dogs, while not aggressive in nature, can get problematic as her arousal level increases. She is easily called off, however. A household with no small children would be the best situation for her at this time.

Fairuza needs a strong leader who has the patience and calmness to help gain some self control. She needs her mind brought into focus on learning good behaviors. She is very smart and a problem solver, so she needs an adopter at least as smart as she is."
