|Super handsome, cherubic fellow - really a nice cat! He came to us with lots of mats and knots in his hair so he got a shave down. This furry gentleman must have been to the groomer in a past life because he is very patient with the trimmers.
If you are good with a brush he will be your new best friend. He is also good around barking puppies but seems to puuurrrfer a little quieter place. Though he prefers not to be picked up or have his feet played with, Alaska is a social feline who loves head rubs and will nuzzle up to your hand for more.
Foster Update: "Alaska loves playing fetch and playing with his toys! He is very affectionate and likes to play in the early morning. He sleeps much of the day and would love to cuddle with a human at night. An amazingly sweet cat who loves brushing and grooming. Although shy at first, he definitely comes out of his shell. Good with people and gentle."
Alaska was surrendered to Marin Humane when his previous owners had complaints. This beautiful man has had some issues where he was spraying. He does not spray in our cat room here at Milo, and Marin Humane reported no spraying either. It's possible he would do best with access to the outdoors as long as the adopter kept up with keeping his fluffy coat mat free.
