|*Foster Notes* 11/13/17 "We had the pleasure of fostering Franny for the past six weeks. Here are our notes about her. She is a sweet dog! As noted in her Milo profile, she does pee when she's nervous. She gets nervous if you use a stern voice with her. She was nervous when first seeing a tall man. But once she got comfortable in our house, the pee accidents diminished significantly. We think that with time, and with a permanent home, this won't be an issue at all.
We have another dog about Franny's size. After a week together, they
played constantly--a kind of ritual dog-wrestling match. Hours of
entertainment! Franny was curious about our cats. They were not curious about Franny. But again, after a week or so, they passed each other uneventfully. Franny does get excited and still has some puppy energy. She is enthusiastic about her walks. Needs some leash training, but overall is very manageable. We would be happy to talk to anyone interested in Franny. In fact,
we'd like to know who adopts her for potential future play dates!"
*Owner Surrender Notes* "We are looking for a new home for our dog, Franny. We have moved from a property with land to no land, and the dynamic between our dogs and the house and us is not working. I truly believe she will be a wonderful dog for someone who can give her more attention.
She is really sweet, is a kisser, and is very affectionate and really wants to please. She is friendly and silly she loves to play, and she loves to run around. She loves to "dance". She really is a sweetheart and she would benefit from a home where she can get more exercise . She also loves attention and may benefit from being an only dog, although she gets along well with other dogs. She has been trained and is fairly obedient.
Because of the stressful home life she has had a submissive urination problem. We believe this will disappear as she gets a little older and becomes comfortable in her new setting. Franny does sometimes rough house while playing with other dogs. She growls and sounds like she is unfriendly but it is actually her just talking."
