Eight gorgeous pups that arrived from McFarland - a terrific mixed up group likely from two parents of mixed breeds though the Mom was known to be a 60 pound German Shepherd mix, but fairly "Shepherdy!" Dad was likely a combination of Labrador and Border Collie it appears.
These are gorgeous, varied pups - each one different and adorable!! Friendly, sweet pups that will be great additions to any home with the time and patience to raise a really good pup into a great dog and family companion!
Social, active, playful and a lot of fun. Likely to weigh in at 60 pounds give or take 10 pounds, when adults. These pups will want to be important parts of their people's lives, enjoying adventures, camping trips, trails, parks and beaches, learning to play fetch, tricks, obedience and more good behavior. Remember that raising pups is challenging at times, it takes focus, energy, stamina, patience and resources. Good quality foods, training classes, day care if your schedule is too demanding.... things get chewed, poop and pee happen, puppy teeth are sharp as are puppy claws....careful with little kids and small dogs, and it's always wise to start training early and train some more!
Ongoing socialization is important as is sticking to a timely vaccination process to get your pup protected against the dreaded Parvo virus so s/he can go enjoy the great outdoors and adventures as soon as possible.
Great pups these, for families and active folks with the time to provide daily exercise and stimulation for both the pup's mind and body! Adoption fee is $500 with half being a tax-deductible donation which qualifies you to get a My Mutt Poster and photo shoot from our friends at Petfood Express!
Think hard about the responsibilities of raising and caring for a dog for the next 16 years or so - and that pups need a commitment, thus there are no refunds on puppy adoptions.
