Volunteer Notes by Elle: Starlight is an interesting, intelligent creature who’s thoughtful and quiet. She loves having a small space of her own; her “cat cave”, preferably by a window so she can while away the day watching the world go by. However, if you bring out a cat toy she’ll drop everything to engage in a good game of chase the floating feather around the room. She’s not overly fond of other kitties or dogs but will co-habitat nicely as long as they leave her alone and don’t invade her space. Starlight can be a bit of a Prima Donna but she is drop dead gorgeous, so she’s entitled. After all Calico’s are rare and prized for their beauty. Over stimulating her might elicit a swat or two, but she’s working on this bad habit and looks utterly forlorn and unhappy after It happens. So she’ll need an adult only home. Starlight has tons of presence so she’s perfect for someone seeking companionship. She’s very endearing, communicative and entertaining. She’s a bit of a fuss budget with her litter, covering whatever she deposits in the box, completely, working at it until it looks like a nicely wrapped Christmas gift. Thank you Starlight! She’s never missed the box once, loves her cardboard scratcher, which she lays upon, scratching away or snoozing for hours. Starlight likes to proceed at her own pace rather than be pushed into something she's not quite ready for. I believe this trait will disappear once she’s in a home of her own and feels safe again. She came to us as a stray and it’s a big scarey world out there when you are all alone and abandoned or lost. She’s a vision of loveliness who longs for a home of her own. She wants to be loved for who she is and looked after and cared for so she can relax again; enjoying life.    Age: 2 yrs.  Birthday: 12/2015 (est)

*Notes* 1/10/18 "He is very playful and can get over stimulated easily. He likes to suck on his back foot while he purrs. He would do well in a home that can play a lot with him on his terms and be happy just to have him near you. He is not a fan of being held by just anyone, you have to be his special person."

Penguin is a sweet sweet Tuxedo kitty. He loves to get pets and will give affection in return. He would rather not live around dogs though.

Peggy Sue is a short hair ticked tabby. She is a gentle, loving kitty that wants nothing more than to have a loving home where she can run around and play with toys. She loves attention, to be petted and sits on your lap. She does get along with other kitties after an introduction time. She has had to live in a large cat condo because one of my cats did not like her.

This girl wants nothing more than to have a home she can roam in and play freely.. she deserves it!

   Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
   Color:  Snowshoe Siamese
   Gender: Male
Age: 3 yrs.  Birthday: 12/2014 (est)
   Milo ID: 26472
   Current Location: Milo Point Richmond
*Rescue Notes* 12/20/17 "Walter came to us as a skittish 4-5 month old kitten with a badly injured front leg. The leg was amputated. Walter was in a home with a rescuer who had dozens of cats. It became a hording situation. With all that going on, the cats had little individual attention and Walter grew to be completely feral. Walter had good looks and good health, we tried a foster home but nothing changed with his personality."
