Featured Critter: LEATRICE
Breed: Shepherd - Australian Shepherd Mix  -  Gender: Female  -  Age: 1 yr. 3 mo. (est)
LEATRICE Foster Update: "Leatrice is doing really well. I had to leave her at home on Monday unexpectedly. Honestly I figured she would tear some stuff up and have a potty accident. After 7 hours alone, it looked like she may have just been sleeping all day. No accidents or destruction! She is so affectionate. She has been getting along with my chihuahua but maybe is too goofy and energetic for such a little dog. My cat seems to confuse her a bit. She doesn't really understand that her quick movements aren't an invitation for play. Would probably be best for a home without small animals or with small animals that are bigger dog savvy."

LOVE!! Leatrice loves people! She loves attention, being petted, being praised! She is going a bit stir crazy at MPR and could really use a new foster home (or better yet, a forever home) !

A petite, energetic, people-loving Shepherd. Lovely black and tan girl, very pretty, and bright, loyal. She is good with adults and children, though she needs a little work on her manners. She loves jumping up to try to hug & kiss you. She knows how to sit, comes when she is called, and likes chasing the ball or frisbee.

Leatrice has made great strides since coming to Milo -- she can be aggressive with other dogs, but since coming to us she has found that calm dogs make good playmates and friends for her.

Little Leatrice needs some dog-savvy folks willing and able to give her guidance, continue on her socialization with other dogs, and have their pup be an important part of their lives!
