|This is an adoption assist: “Paxton is a beautiful 70 lbs neutered white German shepherd mix. I was asked by a couple to foster Pax for a few weeks until they moved to a house with a big yard next to a great dog park in Connecticut with a promise to return for him on February 9th. They never showed.
Pax is a great 1.5 year old pup. He is trained to handle his 1 & 2 business outside. He does not chew on household items. He is great on and off of the leash. He plays fetch, obeys commands such as sit, lay down, no, wait, and is likely the most intelligent pup to ever exist, as the person I acquired Pax from [temporarily] said they never taught Pax any commands.
He likes humans, but he is a bit snappy when other pups approach him that he does not know, but has never showed any real aggression. He is cat friendly as well. He's a big ball of love and energy and once he’s used to another dog he will play nonstop for hours and hours.
I've had Pax since December in my little apartment in downtown Berkeley and he really needs some space to run and play. I'd love to see Pax adopted out to a home with another dog and a yard so he has a place to run and play. Oh, he can climb the average 4 ft chain link fence so I'd suggest a home with a tall wood fence or a ranch/farm of some sort.”
