Foster A Dog, Puppies, Cat or Kittens
Many rescue dogs and cats simply need more one-on-one people time and a sense of routine. Foster homes literally save lives, creating more space at our Milo Point Richmond (MPR) Adoption Center to rescue more pets facing euthanasia.
Dog savvy people with fenced yards, and the time to devote to an additional pet, would be helping a long-term Milo dog by fostering for a month or so, and getting the dog primed for “real life” — a home and a family!
Taking a fostered dog to Mobile Adoption events is very helpful. Foster homes are also needed for shorter time frames for cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies. We rescue a LOT of mom dogs with puppies, and in the Spring and Summer months, many mom cats with their litters – fostering a family is super helpful in saving many lives!
